FIERITALIA, a hugely popular outdoor spring festival organized annually under the auspices of Co.As.It. (Italian Australian Welfare Association Inc.) is held in the historic gardens of New Farm Park and is attended enthusiastically by over 20,000 people.
Being Italian is to delight in life, enjoy family, food and sharing our culture with that exuberant energy for which we are famous. What better way to express this passion than through a festival that honours the past, celebrates the present and preserves our rich traditions for future generations.
Fieritalia highlights the many contributions made by the Italians to Australia, showcases local and interstate Italian performers, promotes Italian products and captures the Italian essence through the lingering aromas of tantalising food, wines and sweets - all accompanied by the reverent drinking of fragrant black coffee!
Bring a picnic blanket, settle down on the grass and enjoy what the Italian festival has to offer - culture, language, rich food and good fun.
