As a Chef, Author and Presenter Dominique’s aim is to inspire people to cook with fresh, seasonal and local produce. Through her innovative recipes and a healthy attitude her mission is to improve general wellbeing, build confidence in the kitchen, inspire creative cooking and bring vitality onto peoples plates. “I am deeply passionate about creating innovative food using quality safe and clean fresh produce. My heart lies naturally within the pages of Italian cuisine, while my inspiration takes you on a culinary journey of world food flavours.”

Embracing 20 years’ experience as a chef, including former head chef and partner of Mondo Organics restaurant, catering and cooking school in Brisbane’s West End, Dominique, with her business “Pure Food Cooking” is able to share her abundant knowledge around Australia through her cooking classes, cooking presentations and demonstrations, recipe writing , food styling, radio and Television work that focuses not only on her true passion for Italian and Sicilian food culture but incorporating an emphasis on all cuisines celebrating our amazing melting pot of a multicultural kitchen.
Television appearances include special guest on USA iconic morning show “Today” and 12 years’ experience working in Australian television, radio and media including regular past guest spots on The Circle, and Mornings Channel 9. Dominique also has a long-standing current role on Channel 10’s Ready, Steady, Cook, and more recently hosting a new food show on channel 10 called ‘Yes Chef’ and “It’s a Lifestyle TV” and the presenters role for “Fresh on Sundays” a 2 hour food show on Brisbane’s popular 4BC radio.
Dominique’s first cook book “My Taste of Sicily” showcases a beautiful collection of delicious family friendly traditional and Sicilian inspired recipes highlighting her passion for fresh healthy cooking and her Sicilian heritage. It has been a dream of Dominique’s for many years to be able to share her passion for all things Italian with like-minded foodies. So Dominique launched “Pure Food, Wine and Cooking Tours” in 2012, taking small groups of 14-16 people on an amazing cooking, eating and cultural experience through Southern Italy, Sicily and surrounding Islands. With booked out tours in in 2013, Dominique is continuing her passion for her tours in 2014 travelling to Puglia, Spain, Sicily and a new bespoke tours journeying into Greece in 2015.
With continuing involvement in charity and community works supporting women and families, and teaching healthy sustainable cooking and lifestyle changes. "I love the essence of clean, simple whole food cooking. There are still so many flavours that I have yet to explore. It is so wonderful to be a chef and to have available at my fingertips an amazing palette of different flavours and textures to create what I like to call little mouthfuls of flavour explosions"
